In order to create a greener Hong Kong, everyone is welcome to install renewable energy power generation systems and sell electricity to CLP/HK Electric. In addition to helping to combat climate change, you can also get feed-in tariffs, killing two birds with one stone!
The feed-in tariff for renewable energy power generation systems begins with participation in the feed-in tariff scheme and remains unchanged for the entire project life of the system or until December 31, 2033, whichever is earlier.

The CLP/HK Electric Feed-in Tariff Scheme is based on the capacity of the renewable energy generation system, purchases all the electricity generated by the customer's renewable energy generation system at a maximum of $4 Electricity, which will continue to be repurchased at a fixed price until December 31, 2033.

Eligibility
Feature 01.
You are a CLP/HK Electric registered customer (this program is not applicable to government agencies)
Feature 02.
Your renewable energy system is powered by solar photovoltaic and/or wind power and is installed at the electricity account supply address
Feature 03.
Your renewable energy generation system has a total generating capacity of no more than 1 MW
Feature 04.
Your renewable energy system can be connected to the CLP/HK Electric grid without the need for CLP/HK Electric to increase grid capacity or carry out grid enhancement works
step 1
Submit the application form and related documents.
Step 2
Renewable energy generation system installed with the consent of CLP/HK Electric.
Step 3
Test the system and submit the results and other required information.
Step 4
After the CLP/HK Electric site inspection is satisfactory, the renewable energy meter will be installed and the system will be connected to the grid.
Step 5
Feed-in tariff payments are charged based on meter readings.
Notes
If the application process is not completed within the validity period, the application will be automatically terminated.
